MY WORLDS COLLIDE
In mid-July I spent a week in Philadelphia on a shoot for an educational DVD series for Lippincott Nursing. Lippincott is a world renowned Nursing Education company. We use their Drug Guide at my current nursing job and I credit their study guides for helping me pass my Nursing Board Exam on the first try. :) I played a nursing student which made the week feel like a time warp. I love how life comes full circle sometimes!

LEANDROFITNESS Photoshoot-Thanksgiving weekend. This gig provided some serious motivation to stay away from the left over mash potatoes and pumpkin pie! :) Leandro Carvalho is the creator of the Brazilian Butt Lift Workout and has a private fitness studio on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. I rang in the New Year performing in a show at the Trump Marina Hotel/Casino in Atlantic City with Confetti Entertainment. It was a great night with a fun and talented group of dancers.

I’m co-choreographing a production of Carousel with the talented Dana Boll for the Village Light Opera Group’s 75th Anniversary Season. The show is at the Shimmel Center for the Arts at Pace University in Downtown Manhattan.

June 2011-I played a model for an episode of Top Gear which was filmed in Bridgehampton. The episode will be titled “Dream Cars” and will air in late summer/early fall on the History Channel. I road around in a 1972 Rolls Royce with Adam Ferrara(one of the hosts) and another actress involved in some pretty comical dialogue. It was a fun and amusing experience to say the least! :)

July 2011-I will be performing in Harbor Lights Theater Company’s production of The Music Man. The show is directed by Ray Roderick, the Associate Director of the Broadway Revival. It’s at the Music Hall on the grounds of the beautiful Snug Harbor Cultural Center in Staten Island. Hop on the ferry and come check it out!

I filmed a commercial for CNBC’s Million Dollar Portfolio Contest. It was an awesome experience to be at the CNBC Headquarters, I even got to wander around the News Floor. The commercial is set to air in the next couple of months on CNBC.
