In early September I did my first “young mommy” print job for Audiovox. I got to spend the day with a very sweet little boy and girl who looked a lot like me.....so fun! I, or rather my torso and biceps :) were featured on the cover of “The Athlete’s Palate Cookbook” by Runners World/Rodale Press, published on December 22nd, 2009. The book can be purchased at Barnes & Noble, Borders, and on Amazon.com. All of the recipes are contributed by famous chefs who are also athletes. Excellent meals for training and workout/dance olympics recovery! :)
I recently took part in 2 shoots for Rev Abs, a new workout program launched by Beach Body. Rev Abs was created by expert trainer Brett Hoebel combining interval and strength training with Brazilian Capoeira. It’s one of the only fitness program I’ve ever done that left me feeling as tight and fit as my dance workouts. The footage will be part of a nationally televised infomerical scheduled to be released in early 2010. Saturday April 24th at 11pm will be my opening night in Erotic Broadway Vintage Variety! Billed as “an erotically charged evening of song, dance and burlesque”, “ this exciting late night revue hearkens back to New York’s yesteryears”. Along with dancing and singing in the show, I’ll be performing my own baton twirling act. The show is conceived and directed/choreographed by the talented Tricia Brouk.
I am so excited to be a part of this extraordinarily talented cast! :)

MY WORLDS COLLIDE
In mid-July I spent a week in Philadelphia on a shoot for an educational DVD series for Lippincott Nursing. Lippincott is a world renowned Nursing Education company. We use their Drug Guide at my current nursing job and I credit their study guides for helping me pass my Nursing Board Exam on the first try. :) I played a nursing student which made the week feel like a time warp. I love how life comes full circle sometimes!
